On May, 12^th, 2013 in Szeged (Hungary) the first stage of a World Cup on rowing on kayaks and a canoe has come to the end. In a new season students and graduates of our university started successfully.

YURENIA ALEH (3^d  year student of physical training faculty) has won a gold medal on distances of 5000 metres and a silver medal on a distance of 1000 metres in a kayak-single.

KHUDZENKA VOLHA, PAPOK NADZEYA, TSISHKEVICH MARHARYTA (4^th year students of physical training faculty), Alexandra Grishina have won a bronze medal on a distance of 500 metres in a kayak-four.

 RJABCHENKO DMITRY  (the graduate of physical training faculty) and Alexander Volchetsky have won a silver medal on a distance of 200 metres in a canoe-two.

On May, 17^th-19^th, 2013 took place the 2^nd stage of a World Cup on rowing on kayaks and a canoe in Rachitse (Czechia).

Oarsmen of our university have won 7 medals at the Czech stage of a World Cup on rowing on kayaks and a canoe!

Margarita Tishkevich as a part of kayak-two crew together with Aleksandra Grishina has won also a silver medal on a distance of 500 m.

Denis Garazha (the graduate of physical training faculty) has won a silver medal in a canoe-single on a distance of 500 m.

On May, 24^th–26^th, 2013 within the program of the Republican university game took place the competitions on rowing on kayaks in Brest. The national team of Mozyr state pedagogical university named after I.P.Shamjakin has confidently occupied the 1^st place!

On May, 24-26^th, 2013 in Zaslavle, on the basis of the Republican centre of the Olympic preparation on rowing sports, passed the Championship of Europe-2013 on boat racing among juniors.

In total Belarussian sportsmen have won 6 awards of the championship (1 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze). Among winners are the students of MSPU named after I.P.Shamjakin: Anna Eremich (the student of physical training faculty) and Elena Kudelko (the student of preschool and elementary education faculty) as a part of the eight (with the helmsman) have won a bronze award.
