“PRESIDENTIAL REPUBLIC: THE VOICE OF YOUTH”

“Presidential Republic” is a unique educational project initiated by the RPA “Belaya Rus”, allowing to remember what heights the country has achieved during the years of independence.
On November 18, 2024, an open dialogue “The Presidential Republic: the voice of youth” was held at the University together with the Mozyr district organization of the RPA “Belaya Rus”. The dialogue was aimed at expanding the students' understanding of the upcoming presidential election of the Republic of Belarus, discussing the role of public organizations and associations in the election campaign.
The speakers of the dialogue platform were invited guests: Deputy Chairman of the Mozyr District Council of Veterans, Secretary of the District Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus, honorary citizen of Mozyr district, deputy of the Mozyr District Council of Deputies of the 29th convocation Artemenko Olga Grigoryevna; Director of the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 15 of Mozyr named after General Borodunov E.S.” General E.S. Borodunov Secondary School No. 15 in Mozyr. Troyan Sergey Vyacheslavovich; Head of the Department of History and Social Sciences, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Telepen Sergey Valerievich; 3rd year student of Philology Department - Tsarikevich Ilya.
During the lively dialogue they discussed the achievements of our country for 30 years of independent existence, considered the electoral system of the Republic of Belarus and the procedure of election campaign. They also touched upon the Great Victory, which will be 80 years old next year.
At the end of the meeting, the students were able to ask the guests their questions and receive competent answers.
