СOUNCIL MEETING OF THE YOUNG SCIENTISTS WITH THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION

Igor Karpenko pointed out that the teachers who had just started their career at the University should have been involved into the research activities. These research projects should be supported by the administration of the Universities, because the University today is a place where education and science are united. Alongside with the teachers, the children of Belarus should be involved in the research clubs at schools as well.
The council of young scientists discussed the Rules and Regulations of the Council of the Young Scientists; much attention was paid to the aims and tasks of the council. Startup movements and the ways of support, increment of staff potential, ways to upgrade postgraduate education were discussed at the meeting.
The council of the young scientists was created upon the initiative of the Ministry of Education in 2020 for the purpose to consolidate the cooperation between the young people and to act as a body for consultation and advise as well as to develop rules and regulations, initiatives and recommendations useful for further enhancement of science in the Republic of Belarus. After the meeting the participants of the council visited Polesye Technopark and Longitudinal Research Lab.
