CONSTELLATION OF LINGUISTIC CULTURES DEVOTED TO THE 76TH ANNIVERSARY OF MSPU AND PHILOLOGY DEPARTMENT

On February 20, 2020 Literature and Music Festival “Constellation of Linguistic Cultures” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The festival was devoted to the 76th anniversary of the University and Philology Department as well as to the International Day of the Native Language.
Philology Department today is a place where you can find interesting and in-demand academic programs, creative ideas, pedagogical innovations. Philology Department is the place where you can find talented students and teachers. Philology Department is the place where international cultures, religions and languages are united. The native language is the soul and History of the people, this is a vivid memory and our heritage. The Belarusians, the Ukranians, the Turkmenians, the Azerbaijani, the Chinese are a big Philology family.
Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, MSPU teachers and students, MSPU graduates, guests from Mozyr and Kalinkovichi attended the festival, which was arranged and held under the supervision of Irina Sudibor, executive in charge of Educational Affairs at Philology Department.
Tatsiana Symanovich, Dean of Philology Department, opened the festival, greeted the guests and participants and singled out the importance of interlinguistic cooperation and communication of students in the modern world. Lady Dean said that this was the 4th time when the festival was held at the premises of MSPU and that this year the students from Nigeria participated as well.
MSPU students from Belarus, Turkmenistan, Russia, Ukraine and Nigeria sang songs and recited poetry in their native languages.
At the end of the festival all the participants sang a song "I love Belarus"!
