CREATIVITY PROJECTS HELD AT PHILOLOGY DEPARTMENT

CREATIVITY PROJECTS HELD AT PHILOLOGY DEPARTMENT

There is a good tradition to deliver unusual and creative projects at Philology Department. Thus, at the end of December 2017 the students who majored in “English. German” conducted a series of projects on academic discipline “Reading Comprehension”.

According to the play script of Project 1 the students took on the roles of famous writers and their soulmates who had a dinner at a restaurant in London. They met to discuss hot topics.

Project 2 was devoted to adventures and troubles a group of young people faced, i.e. the youngsters lost the way in the forest and were waiting for someone’s help. The young people were sitting in front of the fire, telling each other the stories and didn’t mention the rescue team had already reached them.

Project 3 was inspired by a well-known fairy-tale “12 months”. According to the plot an angry Winter-the-mother asked her stepdaughter to go to the forest to discover a festive New Year ringtone. On the way to the forest the lady met 12 guys who represented 12 months of the year. Each month was a fan of a definite music style. The stepdaughter finally found a ringtone; it was a lovely song sang by the participants of the project.

Project 4 was arranged in an “X-factor” style. Students represented either popular performers or the jury. Each performance was criticized by the jury; then the jury and the participants shared their opinions on the subject matter.

Implementation of creative projects always brings joy and inspiration!
