On January 11 – 13, 2017 73rd Festive Mozyr and Mozyr District Liberation from Anniversary Ceremony was held at Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin.
On January 11, 2017 student committee members and S. Shulga, a counselor, visited T. Ivanova, a Great Patriotic War veteran.
On January 12, 2017 S. Shulga, a counselor, and students from Preschool and Elementary Education Department, visited A. Lavrentiev and Z. Lavrentieva, Great Patriotic War veterans. Students who live in Dormitory No.2 laid the flowers to the Monument set in honour of the victims of Nazi terror.
On January 13, 2017 festive public meeting was held at Mozyr mound of Glory and University administration, members of academic staff, representatives of trade union committee, students visited E. Romanova, a veteran.
