Participants of the Republican foreign languages contest – guests of the University

Nowadays the significance of foreign languages in the world is indisputable. UNESCO declared the XXI century – the century of polyglots. At present it is very important to be able to use languages in cross-cultural communication.
On March 26, 2013 Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin welcomed the participants of the Republican foreign languages contest of high-school students.
Rector of the University Valetov V.V. greeted the participants. He pointed out the importance of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin in human resource development in Polesye.
Pupils were also greeted by Kralevich I.N. (Member of the Council of the Republic of Belarus), Ismailova L.V. (dean of the philological department), Shepelevich V.V. (DSc, Professor), Morozevich V. and Melkonyan A. (students of the philological department).
The guests had an opportunity to see the exhibition of sports achievements, creative works and the performance of the university students.
Such meetings consolidate the collaboration of our University with other educational establishments of Belarus.
