On January 29 – 30, 2016 State Fest “Baranovichi is the Capital of Youth” was held at the premises of Educational Establishment “Baranovichi State University”. 43 establishments of Higher Education took part in the forum. Ilona Sinitskaya and Kirill Latyshev, 4th year students (Philology Department), represented MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.
On January 27, 2016 solemn meeting devoted to the Day of Belarusian Science was held at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.
Sergey Dylyuk, Deputy Chairman of Mozyr District Board of Deputies, opened the ceremony and congratulated scientific elite of the University on such a big event and extended greetings from Evgeny Adamenko, Chairman of District Executive Committee. On January 20, 2016 an unusual workshop “What is Friendship?” was held at Philology Department. Bruckhaizen Herman Derk, a guest from Holland, asked this question; thereafter students and teachers were searching to the answer using modern social technologies.
It is important to emphasize that Bruckhaizen Herman Derk produces equipment, tools, toys for children who suffer from Down's syndrome, autism and mental disorders. Here, in Belarus, Mr Derk visited Childcare Center “Our Home” in El’sk Region in order to give a helping hand.
