Constitution Memorial Day in Belarus

On March 15, 1994 Constitution of the Republic of Belarus was adopted. This document is of high legal force; it determines personal status and reflects legal principles. Constitution establishes responsibility of the state for conditions of free and dignified personal enhancement. It consists of 9 parts, 8 chapters and 146 articles.

Constitution ensures the right to work, health secure, free-of-charge secondary education and vocational training. President of the Republic of Belarus is a Head of the State, a guarantor of constitution, political rights and freedoms. Execution of Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, respect for symbols of the country (State flag, State emblem, State hymn) are known as a patriotic duty of every citizen.

Cheesefare Week in Belarus

15 03 1Cheesefare week is supposed to be the most cheerful national fest; it is renowned for being mass, fervent and humorous. On March 12, 2016 festive ceremonies were held in Mozyr. Guisers and wandering comic minstrels were parading the central streets. There were lots activities for youngers to be involved in: contests, lotteries, theatrical performances and pancake eating ceremony. MSPU students took part and enjoyed the atmosphere of joy and amusement.

On January 12, 2016 final stage of the regional contest “My Law Making Initiative” was held in Gomel.

In order to participate in the contest young researchers and innovators studied “Law making” and got the certificates at the end of the course. Then the young people had to pass the test and showed their knowledge. Those who got high marks were invited to take part in the final stage.

Inclusive Education and International Cooperation

In February 15 – 18, 2016 Irina Zhurlova, Chair of Pedagogics, and Irina Karpovich, Chair of Practical Psychology and Defectology, completed an internship on “Train the trainer: Diagnostics of Encouragement” as a part of EU – Project “Initial and Further Training for Teachers and Education Managers with regard to Diversity”. The internship was held at the premises of Hildesheim University (Germany); participants from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Austria, Italy and Finland were invited.

Event listing was organized in a form of seminars-workshops and covered a wide range of topics. Participants showed what innovative techniques and training methods were used to upgrade the skills of academic staff members.

Yulia Hodunkova became a Gomel Region Executive Committee award holder!

On February 25, 2016 Vladimir Dvornik, Chairman of Gomel Oblast Executive Committee, granted the prizes to the members of Gomel region studentship who have achieved high results in the intellectual and social activity. 4 students picked up Gomel Oblast Executive Committee awards. Yulia Hodunkova, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, Philology Department, was proclaimed a laureate.
