CREATIVITY PROJECTS HELD AT PHILOLOGY DEPARTMENT

There is a good tradition to deliver unusual and creative projects at Philology Department. Thus, at the end of December 2017 the students who majored in “English. German” conducted a series of projects on academic discipline “Reading Comprehension”.

According to the play script of Project 1 the students took on the roles of famous writers and their soulmates who had a dinner at a restaurant in London. They met to discuss hot topics.

FROM STUDIES TO SCIENCE: PUBLIC DEFENCE OF RESEARCH PROJECTS ON HISTORY

On December 28, 2017 Public Defence Ceremony of research and course projects was held at the premises of Philology Department. MSPU students majoring in “History and Social Sciences” and the pupils from “High school in Kalinkovichi” and “Mozyr Secondary School No. 12” participated in the ceremony and presented their projects. This ceremony delivered professional benefits either for the pupils and students or for the teachers who supervised the projects.

On January 04, 2018 Center for Technologies in Education, represented by Irina Zhurlova, Svetlana Zhuravleva, Galina Bolbas, Oksana Muraviova, conducted a working seminar on “Educational guidance for Pupils’ Science and Research” at the premises of “Mozyr State Regional Lyceum”.

On December 28, 2017 administration office of Belarusian and Russian Philology Chair and BRP branches (Branch 1 –Petr Ahramenko, head, location – “Gymnasium in Kalinkovichi”; Branch 2 –Tatsiana Tatarinova, head; location – “Mozyr Secondary School No.1”) conducted a joint meeting at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Topical issues of cooperation between Higher School and Secondary School, succession of professional knowledge of experts in Philology were on the agenda.

On December 28, 2017 learning and teaching seminar “Cooperation of higher school and secondary school in the field of philology teachers’ training” was arranged at the premises of Belarusian and Russian Philology; organizer – Tatsiana Tatarinova, PhD in Philology, Docent; focus group – teachers, Master’s degree students, bachelor degree students in Philology, philology teachers.
