MEETING “WE HAVE BECOME VOLUNTEERS”

MSPU students met the representatives of Mozyr Red Cross Organization on November 09, 2022. Svetlana Matveeva, Head of Educational Affairs Department, opened the meeting and spoke about the volunteer affairs held at the premises of the University. Some honorary guests were invited to the meeting to share their experience with the students i.e. E.N.Marinenko, Chairman of Mozyr Local Branch of Red Cross Organization, A.V.Bakushkina, Volunteer of search-and-rescue team “SIMURAN”, Kozlova L.N., assistant epidemiologist of Mozyr Hygienic and Epidemiological Center. The guests spoke about the directions and peculiarities of their job, the way they decided to become volunteers and future projects.

TOBACCO PREVENTIVE CAMPAIGN

Tobacco preventive campaign was being held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin on November 14-19, 2022. The main objective was to prevent the students from smoking tobacco, because it was a harmful addiction. A wide range of activities were held within the preventive campaign i.e. social campaigns “We don’t smoke and we hope you don’t smoke as well!”, “My life style today is my health tomorrow!”, “We are against Smoking”, “It’s cool to be healthy!”. All the students were deeply impressed by the activities and participated in the affairs with great enthusiasm.

STUDENTS’ DAY IS A FEST OF YOUTH AND HOPE!

Festive affairs devoted to the students’ day 2022 were held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin on November 14-17, 2022. It is known to be a fest of young people who study in different groups and major in different programs. On November 15, 2022 Fest-contest “Freshmen Cup - 2022” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin. This fest became a good option for students to get acquainted with each other and brighten their life.

There is a tendency to arrange thematic campaigns and sport competitions. Thus, a wide range of affairs were held at the premises of the University i.e. “Who is a teacher”, “Students’ season”. MSPU students showed that they were energetic, cheerful and joyous. They were ready to create positive atmosphere, shared their experience, built up the future and exchange positive vibes.

PROJECT “WARM BOOK”

photoThe quantity of people who have physical disorders is increasing. Defective vision is the most frequent disorder among kids nowadays. While teaching such kids it is important to give pride of place to the following analyzers i.e. an acoustic analyzer, an olfactory analyzer, a sensorimotor analyzer, a taste analyzer. Tactile perception as a key element of a skin-mechanical analyzer and a motor analyzer plays a crucial role in the formation of the perception of the world around us. The social and educational project “Warm Book” satisfies the needs mentioned above. “Warm book” is a tactile book which helps a kid with visual disorders to build proper perception of the outer world.

Dmitry Trofimov, a 5 th year student, Part-time studies, Faculty of Preschool and Elementary Education, started to produce tactile books for the kids with visual disorders.

FESTIVE DIPLOMA DELIVERY CEREMONY

photo A festive diploma delivery ceremony was held in the Local center for Culture on June 30, 2022. Diploma delivery is a festive and memorable day for all the graduates. There are 600 graduates at MSPU. There are 57 graduates out of total who graduated from MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin with distinction. Tatsiana Paliyeva, First Vice-Rector, opened the ceremony with a festive speech. Feliks Galyuck, a Deputy Chairman of Mozyr Disctrict Executive Committee, handed the certificates of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus over the support of the talented students. Dmitry Chernenky, a Deputy Chief of the Head Office for Education of Gomel Regional Executive Committee, and Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, took part in the diploma delivery ceremony.

The students who actively participated in the social and scientific affairs of the University were awarded with the thanks giving letters.
