WE ARE HAPPY WHEN WE ARE FREE

On February 07, 2019 workshop “We are happy when we are free” was conducted at the premises of Student Dormitory No.3; focus group – MSPU international students. The main objective of the workshop was to give basic knowledge about healthy life style. MSPU students were given a lucky chance to share their opinions, to ask the questions, to sum up the ideas and to give comments on other people said, to keep the dialogue going, to respect each other.

MEET-THE-POET EVENT

On February 06, 2019 MEET-THE-POET EVENT was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The guest of the event was Anatoly Volkov. MSPU poetry lovers got a nice chance to talk to the poet and enjoy his creative works.

Creativity of Anatoly Volkov is focused on his love to the Motherland, people who live in Belarus, beauty of nature, love and friendship.

Anatoly Volkov talked about his army service, complicated but interesting life. He recited his poems about childhood, Mozyr, the University. MSPU students were greatly impressed by the poetry. At the meeting the collection of poems “Belarus, you are my love” was presented to the guests. The largest poems of Anatoly Volkov were included in the book.

INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

On January 29, 2018 Delegation from the Netherlands represented by Eric Herardus, Johanes Rigen (director of “Barry-Emons”) and his wife Kristel Wilemi Ontonet van de Ven, Brukheizen Herman Derk, Steheheis Yen Hendrik visited MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin. As part of the meeting the workshop devoted to personal advancement under the conditions of globalization and technologization of modern society was held at the premises of Philology Department.

100 IDEAS FOR BELARUS

On February 01, 2019 Regional stage of State Youth Contest “100 ideas for Belarus” was held at the premises of Gomel State Regional Castle of Creativity of Children and Young People. MSPU delegation was represented by Maksim Tomashevich, a 3^rd year student, Physics and Engineering Department, Diana Mishura, a 4^th year student, Department of Preschool and Elementary Department. Our team presented the project “Android Blog Support Team” (software for smartphones). Michail Kutko, a student from Mozyr State Building Lyceum, presented his project “Make a proper choice!” Experts of the project were deeply impressed by the depth of the ideas presented by our students.

On January 30, 2019 Ivan Shamyakin, a national writer of Belarus, a laureate of state literature prizes of USSR and the Republic of Belarus, Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, a canonical writer, whose name MSPU bears, is celebrating his 98th birthday.

The creativity of Ivan Shamyakin was highly praised all over the world, because the acts of bravery which were achieved by the Belarusian people in peaceful time as well as in the war period were treated like great. His writings “Deep stream”, “When life is good”, “Sources”, “Atlantes and Caryatides”, “Zenith” were devoted to topical issues in the society i.e necessity to keep memory of war, patriotic and moral-aesthetic education of children, responsible attitude to your work, mercy and honesty.
