On March 22, 2015 1^st European Classic Open & Sub/Junior & Junior POWERLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP was held in Pilsen (Czech Republic). More than 40 sportsmen from 12 countries participated in the competition in age categoty “Junior”. Victoria Makarevich (4^th year student, Physical Culture Department, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin) successfully took on the competition in weight category up to 63 kg among girls and took the lead. Her result comprised 375, 4 kg.

Welcome Day 2015!

On February 27 Welcome Day 2015 was held at Establishment of Education "Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin". More than 150 school and college graduates from Mozyr, Mozyr district, Narovlya district, Elsk district, Petrikov district , etc. visited the University and participated in an alternative guided tour "University Rainbow".

In February 2015 the official web-site of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin improved its position in the international ranking web of universities "Webometrics". Now it is occupying the 31^st place among other Belarusian Universities.
