In Loving Memory of Ivan Shamyakin

05-10-1  On October 02, 2015 IV International Shamyakin’s Readings “Writer – Person-Time” were held at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The main objective of the conference was to honour the memory of “the Prominent Son the Belarusian land, Unique Writer and Bright Cultural Figure” Ivan Shamyakin.

Minister of Cultural Affairs of the Republic of Belarus visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin

On September 23, 2015 Boris Svetlov, Minister of Cultural Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin and had an open dialogue with the members of student core group.

Our year - Our Choice

24-09On September 22, 2015 within the frame of State Campaign Our Year - Our Choice Youth flashmob was held in front of the main MSPU building.

Students of the leading higher educational establishments were open to this idea and participated in the ceremony all over the country at the same time.

Advocates of Belarusian State Youth Union at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin formed a symbol of the campaign “ВЫБИРАЙ.BY!” in support of prosperous and independent Belarus!

Youth is the best time for translating the possibility into action!

23-09-1On September 21, 2015 Vladimir Dvornik, Chairman of Gomel Oblast Executive Committee, as an authorized delegate of a presidential contender Alexander Lukashenko, met representatives of all regional establishments of education. Valentin Valetov, Rector of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, Irina Kralevich, Member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Pro-Rectors, Deans, members of academic staff and students were involved into the official proceedings.

Mozyr…so ancient but still young

On September 19, 2015 there was hardly a person in Mozyr who didn’t celebrate the 860th Anniversary of the Town Foundation Day.

Anniversary celebration ceremony was held on the central square. More than 200 MSPU teachers participated in the opening ceremony; 350 students were involved into the street parade.
